Brand Refresh
Magnetar Advertising was selected to provide a brand refresh for Shine, a leading home services franchise, to better reflect its mission of bringing light, excellence, and optimism into communities. The new direction reinterprets mid-century design with modern refinement—an intentional balance of nostalgia and sophistication. Building upon Shine’s recognizable script logo, Magnetar expanded the visual identity using a vibrant palette, geometric patterns, and sparkle-inspired accents that symbolize light, care, and transformation. This updated aesthetic evokes trust, warmth, and craftsmanship while remaining contemporary and scalable across all service lines—from window cleaning to holiday lighting. The result is a cohesive, memorable identity that reinforces Shine’s core promise: to create a brighter, better world through every customer interaction.
Supporting Visual System
As part of Shine’s rebrand, Magnetar Advertising developed a suite of supporting graphics that build on the brand’s neo-retro foundation while reinforcing its core themes of light, cleanliness, and optimism. Patterns of dark red sparkles on Shine Red backgrounds, as well as lighter sparkle variations, mimic midcentury design motifs—striking a nostalgic yet modern tone. These sparkle elements visually communicate the essence of “Shine,” symbolizing either the gleam of freshly cleaned glass or the twinkle of decorative lighting. Large starburst sparkles and smaller accent treatments appear throughout the branding to add motion and energy, while delicate bubble patterns are used selectively to evoke the soft rings of light and the purity of cleanliness. Together, these elements create a dynamic, cohesive visual system that feels both timeless and uniquely Shine.
Fleet Graphics
To align Shine’s fleet with the updated brand identity, Magnetar Advertising refreshed the vehicle graphics while preserving the company’s instantly recognizable look. The bold red vans with the large white Shine logo—an iconic element of the brand—remain the centerpiece, maintaining strong visual continuity and brand recognition. The new logo was seamlessly integrated into the design, accompanied by subtle sparkle elements that introduce a touch of the refreshed branding. These details not only modernize the fleet’s appearance but also reinforce Shine’s themes of clarity, brightness, and professionalism, ensuring the vehicles communicate both legacy and renewed energy wherever they go.

Clean lines, simple forms, and subtle retro cues make the icons instantly recognizable while maintaining clarity.
